Happy coincidence, the city of Ablis has a new cultural space (Etincelles), looking for a show to start the activity. After several meetings with the mayor, Alexandre Laigneau and Vincent Angel proposed a complete project (not only a magic show). The answer from the mayor’s office is positive and L’Héritier de l’Illusion can be born!

The circle of motivated people grows, and the Cercle Magique de Seine et Marne (CMS) decides at the first request to support the festival and in particular to manage the contest part.

Competition bearing the “FISM QUALIFIED CONTEST” label by FISM

L’Héritier de l’Illusion is the official contest in Île-de-France approved by the FISM (International Federation of Magic Societies).

In order to be recognized, this contest has received the approval of the FISM and its organization complies with the rules specified in the regulations (designation of the jury, scoring rules, awarding of prizes and operating procedures).

Prestigious prizes

In order to put under the spotlight the still unknown talents, this contest will allow them to leave with numerous prizes. 1st prize of 1 000 €, a second prize of 700 €, a 3rd prize of 500 €, contracts of engagements (international festival of the magicians of Forges-les-Eaux, gala…), a legal accompaniment to launch their career and a residence of work of several days framed by professionals of the spectacle.

A professional jury

The jury is composed of professionals of the spectacle and the magic of which at least one member of the Bureau of the French Federation, a representative of the French magic team and a chairman of the jury who will have been judge in National or International competitions.

The jury will note the candidates following the scoring grid used in the FISM (Fédération Internationale des Sociétés Magiques).
